Life in Metro-city

Hi, M back again to write down my experiences in metro-city Gurgaon and Delhi.

Its already 2:30am in the morning, so any grammatical mistake or spelling mistake can excused. Hope can bare with it.

As i said its 2:30 am and i am still awake, during my college times, it was the same and very common thing to occur.
The things that in my mind or the things that does not allow me to sleep early has great difference now than that of college years.

In college there were my friends to company me, to bare my funny comments(BHORU), to try different things and for many others act to come live.
Done many things together, which are as fresh as it has just about to happen. My eyes smile , when i recall those days. Those were the good days
of my life(best were the school days :P). Many true incidents will be shared later in this post, and i guarantee, you gonna cry in laugh and pain in your
stomachs. Before writing the true short stories i must take permissions from the characters playing in these stories.i am sure they will
allow me.

But as of now my roommate is sleeping and i am the only person who is not sleeping. There is no to accompany me. I can't do any funny acts.
May be time has changed, i have to learn life with more attention. You can't have fun all the time, this i should learn from it. Why even i
am thinking of permission from my own friends. I never done this thing before. I changed or my friends have changed or the time has changed.
I don't have the exact answer. I wont be blaming any other person or life to screw me up. Its we people who screw our lives.

You might be thinking, i started the writing talking about funny incidents and i am forcing the people to taste the boredom. I can't help it.
This is my place and you have bare it.

I still remember Sheetal dhaba, Babbe di chai,Paranthas and formula(used for TEA) outside Rajindra hospital, Sahni bakery's open Chicken burger
and Simron juice bar's fruit cream.

I miss all these things in "my Life in Metro-city". I miss my best friend. Few relationships has been improved greatly.
Thanks to KPS, AR, PC , AS and CD. Few has gone down, wont mention the names, i hope they do understand it well.

You as a reader will be thinking where are the f@#$%$g funny true stories. Well, you must have a good look at the title of post
and the incidents were happened in college. I guess Patiala is not a metro city(My college is inPatiala).Even i haven't shared my experiences experienced
here in metro-city.
I will pen down those events in next post. It was just a hint or a flavour of my next writings. These gonna be interesting, So keep pinging me to
write them soon.

Till then take care and good bye.

crude oil price slips

As i said in last post HPCL share price gonna take the u-turn stopping its downward rally. It has shown today the same. After the government has declared, the petrol prices can go up and in international market the slipping down of crude oil price also favoured this stock.
Oil prices fell below $72 a barrel today in Asia as a three-month rally lost steam amid a strengthening dollar.Oil prices have more than doubled since March in part on expectations that the massive U.S. fiscal and monetary stimulus will hasten a decline of the dollar. Investors often buy crude and other commodities as a hedge against the possibility of inflation.Traders are also wary that the recent price run-up isn't supported by improving supply and demand fundamentals.Energy analyst Victor Shum says oil has "rallied too much in too short a period of time."On Friday, the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries dropped its daily demand forecast for 2009 by 230,000 barrels, estimating that global consumption would shrink to 83.8 million barrels a day.
I expect the same tomorrow. Crude price will go down further.

Expect some good from HPCL

HPCL will be key script in next week. If the crude oil price falls a bit it can go to high of Rs 20 from here.(i.e Rs 323) in one trading session. On friday crude oil price has come down a bit. Lets see what happens on monday. i am optimistic about this share.

It was at Rs 397 on 29th may and Rs 303 on 12th june, approx. 23% fall in 2 weeks. That really bad, it shouldn't have happened, but it happned. But now it gonna take U-turn from here, it will again go back to RS-400 mark in coming week.Govt. officials has expressed their concern over the falling share price of HPCL and announced, if needed the price of petrol can be increased.

Election Mania

The most entertaining event of this year is around the corner. I guess you all might have decided by now, to whom you going vote for. I marked elections as new source of entertainment, there are reasons for this. These days media is using the dialogues or slip of tongue by Politicians during the rallies, a new source to generate TRP. The common people are enjoying every bit of this drama happening all over India. It all started with Varun Gandhi's provoking hate speech against muslims. Afterwards the whole drama started. BJP is using this as a new weapon against Congress in elections. Their policy is divide people based on castism. BJP has always used Hindutav in wrong manner for votes. No religion promote the hatred among people then why BJP trying to do so using Hindutav. I wasn't against BJP since last year, but the intentions this party showed in last one year were heartbreaking.

1) Attack on Minor communities (christians)

2) Attack on public discs and clubs
3) Attack on Muslims
These were few incidents that we know and there are many other. The menifesto of BJP for these election also contains the building of Ram temple. To raise the conflict among Hindus and Muslims. A hindu and a muslim can't be friends in those areas where BJP is ruling. What the F*** is this. They are against westernisation, although in our religion its no where mentioned about what to wear or not. If they are not against it then why they oppose. Or just they are against INDIA's progress along with western nations.
I am not in favour of Congress, these were my views against BJP at national level.
Today i was shocked when i read headline in TOI " We will BAN ENGLISH AND COMPUTERS: SP ". Still we going to vote for them, why so.
I JUST WANNA SAY THINK BEFORE YOU VOTE: ARE YOU DOING RIGHT THING. YOU HAVE TO VOTE AND VOTE FOR RIGHT.

Foul Politics--- Can Politicians answer these.

Got few questions in mind. I know it wont be answered but i am doing my part as elections are on nearby. I am 22 years , still i am unable to think what impact can my vote cast for the welfare of society and nation. I thought about it for many hours then i decided few parameters. These are some ideas of mine, which i think are going to do some good for the nation. And i decided to vote to that Party which fulfills majority of these parameters.
1). Right of equality
Then why is there any reservation or quota system in every public sector or public system. For example in education system, why nearly one-third of the seats are reserved for the minor classes(according to law). I don't consider any community to be lower or upper class. Government is itself discriminating people by dividing them in different classes.
The reason for this issue has been answered by many politicians in this fashion,"The lower classes should be given fare chances, to educate them to a level of upper classes". I think that's a brilliant answer.
What my question is, the path followed to achieve it , is good for all societies and to whom they consider the lower class, on what basis they decide this?. This quota system was introduced immediately after partition of India and Pakistan. This was good at that time, and it was introduced for only 10 years. But our Politicians continued it to increase their vote banks and instead of decreasing the %age of quota , these people has further increased it to unacceptable levels. What does it mean, it mean no government had been able to up bring the lower castes. If any party really want them to bring them equal to any other class , they should provide them every facility needed to achieve this target. Its doesn't mean you reserve their seats. I am going to suggest the ways to help those people with my real observations. Few of my personal observations in this context.
  • 1)I studied in a college where nearly 30% of the total seats were reserved for different classes apart from general category. The amount of money needed to study there is more than 1lac per year. It means a rickshaw driver or a fruit seller can't afford to educate his/her child. So quota system should not be based on community wise, rather it should be based on salary of the family. A general category student who is good in studies but can't afford the annual fee of institution has no right to study, this is what present scenario is!!!
  • 2)The number of(%age wise) education loans sanctioned were more against the name of GC students rather than RC students. This conveys, the students in RC were already financially strong enough to get every facility needed for studying. Then why they need this quota. It should be,"once you have used your quota certificate , you cannot use it any further. And once you got the good quality job then your next generation cannot use it".

It shows the inablity of every government to raise the standards of poor people in india and to hide this they go for increasing quota%. What i have seen, till today no one from any political party has dared to speak against this quota. They don't have the guts, who will like to loose his/her vote bank. It has been perdicted the amount of money spend on elections is going to cross 7000 crore mark in coming elections. Just think about it.

There are many more things to discuss like "Muslims are now asking for quota","having a soft corner for girls in every sector" , fall of SENSEX , whats happening in share market these days and many more.. To be cont....

Something Unusual-- But worth discussing

i don't know whether these things to be discussed or not what i keep on thinking about it.i have already discussed many a times with my close friends but this thing isn't allowing me to live my life without it.It is something you going to make fun of me. I just read the famous words from Steve jobs so gathered the courage to pen down it. The words inspired me from Steve jobs "Your time is limited,so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become.Everything else is secondary".
'You've got to find what you love .
The topic i want to discuss is long lasting debate, it may look weird to many of you. "how transparent you want relation to be with your partner". We have already discussed for 10 hours on this topic and still searching the things that could help us out of this. Before start thinking about it just answer these questions or scenarios..
You had a girl friend or boyfriend and this relation involved each and everything that could happen among couple.

1) Will you tell your new partner about your past ?.
Your answer will be ," of course, yes".

you and your partner going out for shopping and you see a boy/girl very attractive
and a thought "to sleep with that boy/girl" came to your mind. Just a thought for few seconds.
2)Will you share that with your partner ?.
Confused!

3)Would you like to or will you be able to share every damn thought that comes in your
mind with your partner?. I know that's a bombshell.

Placments in thapar college.

hello friends.
I would like to write about the recession that has hit the placements in our college. The placement scenario in college is worse as compared to our time. Things change very quickly and we dont realize it. When we realize those things, time has been already passed. We are lucky enough to get jobs as well as joinings. There are students who has scored good CGPA and still waiting for jobs. There are students from our batch who has got jobs but waiting for the joining.
Our batchmates who are still waitng for their joinings, think about them. They are in real mess. We have forgotten those friends. What situation they are going through. They have job offer but not the joining. Now they are joining call centres, joining PTU colleges as lecturars and few are still waiting for their joining letter. They all are doing What they have never dreamt of. Things change very quickly before we realize them. So prepare yourself as recession is not over yet.
Now think about the final year students.Placement % have fallen drastically.According to my information placement% is around 60-70%.Forget about the jobs, companies as of today aren't providing the trainings to students in their training semster. Now they are having training semster in college. I am sorry for those guys as my comapny has also denied the training to students who got the job offers from the comapny. Its the worst i have seen so far in my life.
IT companies are crashing, share market is going down, in adition IT company scams are few indicators of recession. I dont know why i am writing it but i felt to share my feelings with you.And i have already mentioned in my first post this blog is dedicated to all thaparians.

Write your views about it. And help the people in need if you can.
