Foul Politics--- Can Politicians answer these.

Got few questions in mind. I know it wont be answered but i am doing my part as elections are on nearby. I am 22 years , still i am unable to think what impact can my vote cast for the welfare of society and nation. I thought about it for many hours then i decided few parameters. These are some ideas of mine, which i think are going to do some good for the nation. And i decided to vote to that Party which fulfills majority of these parameters.
1). Right of equality
Then why is there any reservation or quota system in every public sector or public system. For example in education system, why nearly one-third of the seats are reserved for the minor classes(according to law). I don't consider any community to be lower or upper class. Government is itself discriminating people by dividing them in different classes.
The reason for this issue has been answered by many politicians in this fashion,"The lower classes should be given fare chances, to educate them to a level of upper classes". I think that's a brilliant answer.
What my question is, the path followed to achieve it , is good for all societies and to whom they consider the lower class, on what basis they decide this?. This quota system was introduced immediately after partition of India and Pakistan. This was good at that time, and it was introduced for only 10 years. But our Politicians continued it to increase their vote banks and instead of decreasing the %age of quota , these people has further increased it to unacceptable levels. What does it mean, it mean no government had been able to up bring the lower castes. If any party really want them to bring them equal to any other class , they should provide them every facility needed to achieve this target. Its doesn't mean you reserve their seats. I am going to suggest the ways to help those people with my real observations. Few of my personal observations in this context.
  • 1)I studied in a college where nearly 30% of the total seats were reserved for different classes apart from general category. The amount of money needed to study there is more than 1lac per year. It means a rickshaw driver or a fruit seller can't afford to educate his/her child. So quota system should not be based on community wise, rather it should be based on salary of the family. A general category student who is good in studies but can't afford the annual fee of institution has no right to study, this is what present scenario is!!!
  • 2)The number of(%age wise) education loans sanctioned were more against the name of GC students rather than RC students. This conveys, the students in RC were already financially strong enough to get every facility needed for studying. Then why they need this quota. It should be,"once you have used your quota certificate , you cannot use it any further. And once you got the good quality job then your next generation cannot use it".

It shows the inablity of every government to raise the standards of poor people in india and to hide this they go for increasing quota%. What i have seen, till today no one from any political party has dared to speak against this quota. They don't have the guts, who will like to loose his/her vote bank. It has been perdicted the amount of money spend on elections is going to cross 7000 crore mark in coming elections. Just think about it.

There are many more things to discuss like "Muslims are now asking for quota","having a soft corner for girls in every sector" , fall of SENSEX , whats happening in share market these days and many more.. To be cont....
